Spa Day for Puppies and Photo Op

This past Sunday, we had a spa/photo op afternoon. The babies all look beautiful and
are so pretty after their baths! Each did very well with their grooming training as
we have been trimming nails since they were 2 days old, and began rudimentary
grooming activity at 3 days. We begin just rubbing them with a dry washcloth
and progress to a damp one, then onto baby brushes and finally they graduate to
canine combs and brushes. They all thoroughly enjoy thier bath, relaxing under
the warm stream of water. They are very good with the hand held dryer, this past
weekend we used the stand dryer and all of the puppies were good with the
exception of Monkey. he decided he didn't want any part of that big, scary, noisy
blue thing - but he finally decided that it was acceptable as long as he was in mom's lap.
Spoiled? yes.... already!
I will add photos of the babies here - enjoy! They are now almost 9 weeks old.

Puppy Breath

tonight is the last night that little Buddy will be with us,
he is joining his new family tomorrow! They are so much
fun and bring such joy to my heart that it is increasingly
difficult to let them leave!

I think Buddy knows something is up,
because rather than romping and stomping with the other
puppies, he keeps racing over to me on the computer
wanting me to pick him up and give me poochie smoochies!

Puppy Breath is the best!

Photos of the boys

Here are a couple of pics of our Coton de Tulear Puppies that will be ready to join their new families next week - aren't they darling? I want to keep them all! Little Rascal is white and Trevor has some markings that will fade as he matures. These two little guys are probably the happiest, tail waggiest puppies I have ever seen!

Hard to believe

It is hard to believe that not so many years ago, we would talk to people on the phone about
our puppies, and send them printed photos of our babies. The photos were
from cameras that we actually had to have FILM DEVELOPED. Now, we
have an online journal for our fur kids!
